Small Business Saturday was awesome! Why I love supporting small businesses...

You may have not realised but Saturday 26th November was 'Small Business Saturday'! A whole day dedicated to shopping with and supporting small businesses both local and afar. I think the message of 'Small Business Saturday' is a great one to put into action, especially this Christmas. By choosing to Christmas shop with small businesses like ours and others Big thank you to everybody who decided to support small businesses and get behind supporting people's dreams, you rock! 

Practically since birth I have always been passionate about supporting makers & small businesses. My mother ran a few differnet businesses when I was growing up & I suppose seeing how that positively impacted us & enabled different life experiences gave me a soild appreciation for small family run enterprises.

Way back when Al & I quit our jobs to 'Promote Positivity' back in 2013, we took a huge leap of faith. It was scary, risky, but we had to do it and aren't we glad we did! Ché Phoenix was only 3 months old and we had basically no money saved! We didn't know where we'd get to but we knew we were passionate, motivated and wanted to create products that did good :) Thank goodness we found people like YOU who believed, like we did that focusing on the good is important & that little things made with love make the best gifts...

That is just our story, but everytime you buy from an independent shop you are supporting a dreamer, a risk taker... They all have a unique story & I personally love knowing that, everytime I shop with them, I'm playing a tiny part in them living out that dream - making that risk worthwhile...
