St.Georges Market, Belfast. Opening times, awards, directions and why you should visit!

August 18, 2015

We trade every Saturday and Sunday at the delightful St.Georges Market in Belfast.

Saturday 9am-3pm
Sunday 10am-4pm

(permanent traders – find us off the large centre isle opposite the green Fin McVeg stall)
*Note the market does also open on Friday but Itty Bitty Book Co does not trade on that day*

Why Visit the Market?

St.Georges market is a must see Belfast attraction! Apart from it's rich history and stunning building structure - It's a buzzing hive of creative businesses, spectacular food, great atmosphere - helped a lot by the live music! It's filled with local shoppers & tourists and really does attract a wide array of people.

Being an indoor market it's always dry (big bonus for Belfast!) and with its glass roof skylights its either letting the beautiful sunshine flood in or reminding you how lovely it is to not be out in the rain!

Belfast won 'Best UK indoor Market' in 2014 and this year it won 'Best destination Market' which in my opinion is recognition it truly deserves!

I hope you'll come down and enjoy it for yourself some day soon :)

Directions

You can get to the market by train, get off at Belfast Central and turn left out the main doors. By the free shuttle timetable and info here. By car, here is some info on where you can park close to the market. Or of course you can walk!

If you get lost just as a friendly local to point you in the right direction :)

There's no such thing as a perfect work/life balance

Whether you’re self-employed are you work for someone else everyone has an idea of how their life would look if it had ‘perfect balance’. But what if real life just isn’t meant to work that way, what if life, instead of being like an old fashioned set of balancing scales is more like a pendulum? Would that be so bad?
